How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

[enjoyin' my chickens]

I am 1 for 1 that is laying for today but this makes 4 out of 6 days of laying. Not bad for first week.

8 from 15 today .. sold 6 hens at chicken swap today,

Got my third and fourth eggs today. Now I know both of my California Whites are laying.

That means I am 2 for 10 but not all are old enough to lay. So more like 2 for 6.
I am sure it will improve.
OH and the eggs have the best little shells and color to the yolks.
I would

them but I think that would just freak them out.

2 out of 4 hens

But one had a prolapse recently and I'm messing with her daylight hours to avoid her laying, and one is broody sitting on eggs so they are excused. The broody made up for them both though! When I candled I saw lots of blood vessels in two out of her four eggs!!!!

Well, 2 for 2, only 2 of my 4 girls are laying right now, my GSL and today my RIR laid her first egg!
