Today we received 9 eggs out of twelve hens...not too bad considering the change in weather here in MI

Living in MA - 5 chickens just starting to lay 3 weeks ago for the first time - got 4 today

The count is not in until I go check the coop for the last time. BUT the most important egg is the first one for my Lavender Orpington Hen, that i found this morning. She is five months old. The gals are still laying despite the cold weather.

2 out of 12. No lights, 5 hens are molting. Had to buy some of those anemic grocery store eggs
