5/9 today. Our Black Star started laying today!

zero today, zero yesterday, and zero the day before that.......as a matter of fact zero for 6 days now!

5 chickens -zero eggs. Hopefully they will all start laying as their molting finishes up and the days slowly get longer.

Went from 4 of 9 on Wednesday to 5 of 9 on Thursday to 0 of 9 today!?!?!? Think my girls thought the Doomsday was coming! Oh well we will see what we get tomorrow.

We got 16 today from our 24 new BSL's. We've been 11 or twelve each day and now it looks like several others have finally joined in. They're now about 28 weeks old. After I go back to work on Jan 2nd I hope to take in 4 or 5 dozen to sell. My co-workers have been hammering on my door wanting their eggs.
