Four dozen! Unfortunatly I had to buy them at the store since all of my hens are moulting.

8 from 10 yesterday, 7 from 10 today. YAY

10/18 again today....I did coop duty, cleaning out nesting boxes and refreshing with hay...leveled the floor of the run out (hens tend to dig along the edges for some reason piling dirt up in the middle) refreshed the feed and water containers and raised both a few inches to keep them clean and keep them from billing out feed. Put down fresh oyster shell and generally cleaned up the coop/run area of trash.
I've got two hens who like to lay in late afternoon so there's still hope...lol....

We are getting mostly small eggs, but today one of our small eggs was a double yolker! It was so cute! Our girls started to lay about 10 days ago. We are getting 3 eggs a day from 9 hens. They will pick up the pace soon
