How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I love all my critters...my dogs don't hurt the chickens. They all hang out together. Their free ranging time may be limited now. Hate to do it. They seem so happy, but I don't believe you can 'teach' them to stay on one side of the fence.

We have a Black Lab that does fine with the chickens too. My chickens can only free range when someone is outside with them though. We have seen fox and hear coyotes close by( my husband also saw one- during the day). They love being out though. I think over time we will extend their run.

We have 6 hens. Got 5 eggs yesterday and 7 today. This giant was laid overnight.

6/6 FINALLY! Got the pullets on May 15. I think they were very young, much younger than the company advertised.
I only have another month with them until I have to give them away.

Congratulations on the 6/6! Those are pretty eggs too! I had 6/6 today too. YAY!

only 2 today...so far one of my girls lays at night fall so might be 3..
got 7 yesterday. i get 11 on some days 0 on others.. little buggers arent very consistant.
3 sexlinks 2 wayo mutts 1 silkie and 2 bantums.

Only 2 out of 5 today, but my orp May turn out to be an early layer. She's looking ready and acting that way too.
