How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

First teen day yesterday!! Yippy!!! 13 was 14 but one was broke. I'm sure one of r fat girls did it but it happened again today, same box w multiple eggs n one broke. It's not a huge deal since it's just one n the pullets have started laying but still. I put another golf ball in it so maybe that will help. They're not eating it.
5 so far today but it's early. Was 6.
Huge egg today. Will post pic later.

Here is a shot of the tree that got hit by lightening Thursday night. Woke the chickens and they cackled loudly for 1/2 hour before they settled down. No eggs the next day (Friday.)

Don't know yet for today or for that fact yest as my hip/leg sort of went out on me yest. Haven't done anything but open door to coop and throw the ff for today (they didn't get it last night) as I was carried into my house and the friend just just the coop door. Better today... can move leg and put weight on it for short periods. Long enough to let them out then back to heat pad. So won't make the trip out today to check until I KNOW it is too late and they will have laid all they are going to today.

Was told NOT to come work Caring Place this morning or for Distribution tomorrow so am home all day unless it gets worse and I have to go on to Dr. But not if I can wait it out. Don't want to get yelled at for sitting too long or doing too much if it is only strained. I refuse to give in to pain if I can wait it out.

And you can see the yards edge on how close. And MY gas propane tank is half that distance and it is about the same distance to my house!! Chickens think THEY were startled...... They are the other side of the house, driveway and shed at other side of property!!!

6/7 but one was broken I found it on the floor and when I went to pick it up, my fingers went in it.

Ok just went out! There were 2 eggs... one in the box... wrinkled and small piece of shell missing and another on the scratch floor almost perfectly round but both very thin shelled for my girls!

3! Right now we only have 3 girls old enough to lay. But usually we only get 2 eggs a day. I love when there's 3!!!
