I got my first egg from one of my five Blue Wheaten Ameraucana pullets. Beautiful BLUE first egg!

4 eggs from 6 potential layers. One of my layers went broody and hatched a clutch three weeks ago, and she has not resumed laying yet. So I won't count her as a potential layer for another few weeks.

I got 12 out of about 23 but 3 of them are clucky, and some are too old to be still laying, gonna have to have a cleanup sale..

Yesterday I got 7. That is 22 eggs in the last 3 days! Of my 28 pullets in the big coop I can't tell anymore who is laying. I think some of my Golden Commets are starting and they should do real well. I have one that lays a brown egg with purple spots on it. I think that is one of my Jersey Giants.
