Great thank you. I am actually looking at this one as it has a built in thermostat so I wouldn't have to buy a thermal cube. Pdirt gave it a good review on here.

So happy today!  8/10 plus Scout....with two Easter Egger eggs!  Whoopie!  I know one of them is from Agatha - she was on the nest when we left for Billings today and she's been laying pretty well since she decided being broody wasn't worth the effort with no eggs to hatch.  But not sure if the other one came from Mathilda, Daphne, or Gladys.  If I was a betting person I'd say Gladys.  I think I can safely eliminate Katerina, Ida, Beatrice, Dora, Edith Ann and Cora since they lay brown eggs, and I can definitely rule out Scout.

Its still early so I'll have to collect again later.. But I wanted to share today's whopper!!

3/3 today! first time they all laid. Also the first time they have used the other nest box. Alice likes to hog the main box, sitting in there for an hour or so after laying her egg. I got 2 yesterday.

Don't blame you - that's no bigger than the pattern in the counter top! I get one of those every so often - don't even count them in the total for the day. Although come to think of it, it's been months since the last one. Maybe seeing us come out and get Speckles and then put him in the freezer scared the teeny eggs out of them!

It actually took me a minute to register what I was seeing and reading (in my defence, I just woke up and haven't had coffee yet which means my brain has not yet inflated with knowledge and caffeine). I kept asking myself why the chickens left a button on a plate.
