How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4/16 yesterday.
7/16 (17, 18?) so far today.
I don't know how many layers I have. Apparently a couple or more of my 19 week olds are laying, because I'm getting a small egg most days now, and they're not the same shade of brown.

I haven't gotten eggs in 2 1/2 months what can I do

Where do you live? I would put a light in the coop and that may start them back up again but if they haven't been laying for a long time they may not start again until spring when it gets warm but it is still worth a shot. I wish you luck.

Please give more details if you would like some help. Some things we need to know:

1. What age are your hens?
2. What is your feeding regimens?
3. What percent of protein does your feed have?
4. What is your water set up
5. What breeds are your hens?
6. Do you feed oyster shell?
7. Do you have heat and lighting set up in the coop?
8. Do you have roosters? If so how many?

Give us more details and I am sure people will jump in with suggestions.

I would definitely add oyster shell as it is crucial for egg production, they should have free choice to eat as much as they need. That coupled with their ages, which they do slow down with age.

Did you girls molt this fall/winter?

Today's total - 18/23 (4 from the EE crew)
