LOVE all of the beautiful colors! I have brown and blue egg layers, but my two Leghorn mix girls should begin laying white eggs soon.

Maryellen, what does wry neck look like in a chicken? and how does that happen?

Gimme is that a gray egg?

Wry neck is caused by either vitamin deficiency, mareks, Newcastle, head or neck injury. I have a thread going called hen walking in circles that shows pics etc( i dont want to take over the EE thread) and i have videos on YouTube under mebully21

28 out of fb 35 hens today have a couple who lay right before dark

Here ya go... The days haul. Ended up with 4/6/8. It was Nellie whom I interrupted earlier. In person, the blue one is much more of a sky blue/pale robins egg blue. The 60.8 egg is so pale it's almost pinkish and either from Dot (Barred Rock) or Astrid (Buff Orpington). Junebug (New Hampshire) is one of our younger three girls. She started laying around Christmas when the rest of the older ones stopped for molting. Right off the bat she's given us pretty big eggs.
