The whole basket was gorgeous. You are furthering my resolve to add an EE to the flock. It might be a good thing that I am limited in the number of chickens I can keep

Thanks Honey, i got the light green and blue egg layers at the local poultry show, my other EE's i was told laid regular eggs after i brought them home and swore i wouldn't drive 3 hrs to get a EE again that laid regular eggs so checked out the poultry show. Turns out 4 of the 6 lay colored eggs lol. I get a pink one too . I put a brown egg in between the pinkish ones and added a white silkie egg i get sometimes. The pink ones are very light.

I ended up with six eggs yesterday in the middle of our mini blizzard! Less than half the birds came out of the coop and I had to carry some of them back at bedtime.

15/23 - yesterday cold and snowy in Colorado. Probably 8 inches on the ground, still snowing and expecting 6-8 more
