I got 11/15 today. This is what I mean by a bunch of hens squeezing into one nesting box. It cracks me up, because how can that possibly be comfortable? And besides, there are 6 other boxes to choose from! -Alexandra33

I have a number nesting boxes too but found 5 of our eggs all in the same box today. I even saw two girls in nesting boxes next to each other but the second one must have waited for the first one to move before she jumped over and laid. They favor it for some reason. And my silkie pulls all the material out of her box onto the floor and lays there.

11/15 - one super tiny

I got one of those teensie weensie eggs the other day! It was just laying in the run when I let them out of the coop!
Back to normal the next day tho.

1- The temperature in south louisiana
2- Only two chickens
3- One is brooding

9 golden comets laying for 1 month and today makes the 7th straight day of 9 eggs everyday. Large eggs from the beginning and so far liking them better than the RIR's
