How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Ghost decided to skip a day so I got her egg this morning for first egg of the day. Orpi is in the nesting bin so we shall see what today brings. I expect 3 more since Midnight and Milky Way still don't seem to be ready to start laying yet.

20 1/2 week pullets
16 girls

8th=first egg ever
9th=2
10th=1 so far

Average 0-4 from 23. The pullets are over 5 months old, but no one lays.

Just found a hen in a compost heap, after seeing she wasn't in the hen house. Lifted her up and found 20(!!!) eggs.

Did a water test for freshness, and they all sank horizontally- meaning all are fresh.

What does this mean?! Is it possible for a chicken to lay 20 eggs? We've only been getting eggs for a week from two other or the 7birds....
