How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

9 eggs today, but 3 apparently had fragile shells and broke open in the nests. (3 different nest boxes, 2 different coops) I guess I need to pick up some more oyster shell tomorrow on my way home.

Finally I can say ME ME ME! Out of 4 x 22 week old Rhode island reds I got 2 eggs (laid from roost so 1 broke) and now my main girl is in the nest box about to lay. So 3 out of 4 hens laid first eggs today! Wooohoooo

1/15, Have heard few other flock owners here are also not getting eggs, even from flocks hatched this year. Have figured mine are molting still mostly but it's driving me nuts. Come on girls get it together!

I keep a cage cup full in each pen/coop near the food and sometimes another by the nests.

I got 4 this morning. Unless my cochins or EE decide to finally start laying that's all I'll get today.

7 chicken eggs today

5 eggs from the control group

2 eggs from the free range chickens

Temp 89 F degrees

Something was making noise in the incubator this morning

All hatched on the morning of the 18th day

2 Russian Orloff chicks and 3 Easter Egger chicks

I have 7 more eggs just waiting to go into the incubator

3/4 today. Egg production has gone down from 24 eggs per week to about 18 per week. Anyone else out there have production layers from Tractor Supply?
