Thanks! Second egg came on Saturday. Wow, what a racket she made! She was pretty darn proud of herself. At least she let me know that SHE was the one laying.

Question. I have 10 hens hat are 6 months old this month will they start laying since it gets dark at 4:30 or will the wait until spring when time changes? Had 11 hens until this morning when one got out and the neighbors dog got her for breakfast
