3/13 again today....and yep 3 different shades of brown than yesterday!

Still no sign of blue or dark chocolate brown.....sigh.....

I've been averaging 2 a day for almost a month. Yesterday the girls lost their free range priviledges and we ended up with 19 in the boxes today. There has to be hundreds of eggs scattered around my yard, lol. Hopefully something finds and eats them before spring.

Must have been Sunday as no eggs were found but the crows got two eggs that I am aware of as one duck egg and a rir egg were in their nest at feeding and the nest were empty when I returned an hour later when I was finished feeding and watering

For sure. They are not very happy about the loss of freedom, resulting in one egg (so far) this morning. It's a good thing they are cute!

3 eggs again from 15. girls need to get their production up so I can make noodles without buying store bought eggs, yuck.

5, and Quail got "kicked out" again by me because she's trying to lay on them. Not happening right now. Not going to have a broody pullet in the winter time. She was a little mad at me for picking her up and putting her outside the coop, but she quickly got over it when she saw the yummy treats out there!
