12/15 today, even after the stresses of a snow storm and the pop door having to stay open for two nights, which was a risk for me, not to mention stressful for me. I plow for a DPW and could not be home for all the chicken duties and I don't expect my SO to do them for me, not that she wouldn't.

16 out of 19 today. That's a low for us. Our 19 Gold Comets have been laying up a storm lately but the cold has probably knocked a couple of them out of production. We've been getting 17 - 19 each and every day for weeks now. It's been cold, cold, cold here in central North Carolina lately and I've been expecting it to slow down but they've been some busy Gals through all this. Way to go, Gals!!!

The only thing I can credit the Leghorns for is laying well in the winter.

Queenie (red sex link) matches pace with them in good weather, but she's been "on again, off again" since mid-December. She'll lay 3-4 eggs in a row then quit for 3-4 days

Apparently this is one of her off days
