How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We have ten layers and 8 red rangers, getting 8 eggs a day now!

Update- collected 12 eggs yesterday and been getting 10 every other day now.

so far today was slow 5/14 from our layers and the first ever duck egg so 1/2 on the ducks

3/5 yesterday. Bossy was in nest at 9 am. today and was out by the time I finished giving morning scratch and filling waterers, and there were 5/5 at quarter after 9. Yea. GC

5 eggs from 9 hens. Lately we have only been getting 2 or 3 eggs a day. I think our hens were molting? 5 are layers and 4 are young hens who have not laid yet, but today it looks like we have 2 new hens laying. Two eggs are pretty small and they are different shades from the other eggs we've been getting. The kids and I are excited.

I got 13 eggs out of about 17 suspected layers. Pretty good, but usually it's 14 or 15.

Only 7/12 today, but 2 were huge, one is a RIR and the other an Amberlink. We have a little egg scale that goes to 3.5 oz and these two bottomed out with a clang. I don't think they are doubles but we'll see in the morning.
