How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10 eggs today. But even better that, my son and his girlfriend had their baby today!
A healthy little boy. Just 5 lbs 15 1/2 oz and 19 inches long.

Had a time I was only getting 3 eggs a day and my Welsummer starting laying white eggs happened around the time I switched food because I couldn't find the usual. Had 4 or 5 a day for the last few days and today we switched back to the normal feed. Temps are 100 or less and lows in 70s for the next week. It's darn near dark by the time I get home now. Have what I hope are 3 more pullets in the brooder right now.

2nd grandson. 1st one is almost 4 years old. He was born 10 weeks early, but is doing great now.

I may have a granddaughter as well ( born June 28, 2017) but the mother is not sure who the father is. I'm hoping to do a grandparent's paternity test soon so we will know. ( my son is back in jail & they won't let him do a DNA test without a court order). The other potential father is trying to avoid being tested. It's all a mess

Our girls are in sync! 9 today (Saturday) as well!
It was a very dark basket today with both Marans and all 3 Welsummers contributing for the first time.

10 weeks early? So happy to know he's doing well, especially in this case. My granddaughter did something similar. She was in NICU for a bit but she's a 3 year old terror now lol.
