A JUMBO+ egg from one of my Australorp pullets. I wonder if that hurt the poor girl

Probably not. The biggest my largest BA has ever laid is 114g, we call that USDA Zorra Fortunately she'd not laid a lot of really big ones. She's been running higher 60's, lower 70's the last couple of years. The other 2012 BA's largest was 102g. Thankfully the 2015's "non standard" BA's haven't laid anything larger than low 70s.

My hens have also finally decided to get back into laying eggs again. I got 17 eggs from 26 hens today and 18 eggs yesterday. As a bonus, I got my first turkey eggs yesterday!! 2 of them. They weighed 3.2 oz and 3.3 oz.

Yep, back on the egg train. Averaging 14/17/day now, 16 yesterday, even the old SL Wyandotte dropped one. We started selling mixed cartons of eggs again last week.
