i had LED lighting from dusk till dawn. so it was at least some dim light if not sunlight ...24 hours per day.

The poor chickens!!!!! Even people who want to try and force winter laying max out at 14 hours a day.

I got 13 eggs today plus 1 turkey egg. High today was only i n the 50's and we are supposed to be getting some rain & possible thunderstorms tonight.

Another one today. Nugget has laid 13 eggs in 16 days. They are small now cuz shes6just beginnng her life as an egg laying hen. Is that a good result for a young BO?

That's very good for about any breed. Some of the hybrids will lay about every day in season. My Buffs lay about 5 eggs/week. She's doing great!

Think we all have pocket oops in out history yup well now taking a basket in but was just doing the pocket pile also got to cleaning and oops
13 from main coop have not moved silky around only one laying eggs 3 broody on
marans eggs for me
