If you have an EE that starts laying at 21 weeks or so - congrats! Mine have started at about 23 weeks at the earliest.
One of my EE squatted for me today which I never thought I would get them to slow down enough to do that! Both their combs are really getting red and both have been interested in the nest boxes (none actually going in, just poking their heads in). One of my buff brahma bantams actually went into a nest box and hung out for a minute but no egg yet. Here are the EE's combs that I took today.
