Came out with 8 Wowzer great amount from them hope a few grow up banty size eggs
sure as heck hope they aren't banty birds

Love good giggles every day 9 in the main coop. Cleaned silky coop complete with the help of the Son fresh shavings there actually 2 rooms in that coop one I can stand in the other cannot rodeo to wrangle 3 peeps in there good grief, even better reason to hatch no more till spring

Got all excited when I had 5 yesterday until I remebered I hadn't collected the day before

Having a terrible worry that Hermione has decided to go broody again as she was sat on the eggs late yesterday. I do want more chicks just not sure if want to be running a 2nd broody coop in this weather - only just moved them all into the main coop and it is a relief not to be shutting up 2 or 3 in the rain and mud! Maybe she just went to be early and decided to sleep there!

I only have one silky laying of the 4 .. I understand I let them hatch at Halloween 3 live growing great still hide under the silky almost as big as them now but they try .. not giving them any eggs now but they will still try to brood on the one egg a day

I got 10 eggs today from 15 hens, there's currently a hen in a box now so I might have 11. They've been averaging between 10-12 a day for the last almost week. It's been pretty stinking cold here so I'm happy

1 tiny little fairy fart egg! Although didn't go down and check late in the day so may have been more!

Gotta love the fart eggs..... no yolk most the time super tiny not even banty .. needed the bags of food I had bought for the main coop they where in the car said fine do it myself did the first pain then second BF walked out he man said let me .... I opened it went to lift it in oops 1 did me in he grabbed the bottom it went in he was cursing me for doing it look I have had it 6 days was tired of asking.. silky gave me 2 today

I feel your pain. I can't keep up with my customers at the moment, much less have any for me to use! Usually now I get 3 eggs a day. On a good day I get 6. That's from more than 20 hens!
My hatch this past July gave me at least 8 roosters out of 10 eggs. 2 others I still haven't decided if they will be hens or roosters!!
I guess I'm going to have to hatch out some more after I butcher all the extra roosters!
I need some new hens! Most of mine are 2 years old or older.
