How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Been very chilled here, plan to spend the rest of the day reading then worrying about the garden etc later in the week!
2 today, and yesterday - one of my young poulets has started laying, thinking probably the Orpington as I think the Favarolles were more white that this egg (very pale brown or cream). maybe those few days of extra light starting has done something to them

2 yesterday, none yet today. My Faverolles' eggs are/were pale brown, wouldn't be confused with white at all. But then you have French Faverolles, not USA hatchery Faverolles so they could lay a different very light brown.

Worry about the garden later in the week :gig
Yeah, I'll do that too ... in mid to late APRIL!

Oh OK - I dont' know - I just remember them being a lot paler (I was given 6 hatching eggs) than my layer girls who are definately different shades of light brown. What colour are Orpington eggs? I haven't finished my autumn clear up adn still havent' got my garlic in - so I'm not getting ahead - just catching up (story of my life!!). Phone being a pain, I'll upload a pic of the egg later to see what you guys think. Also my Vorwerk eggs were around that shade but I think much smaller. Marans even I should be able to work out :lau:lau

I would say my Faverolles eggs were about the color of the one you have on the left. I guess one could think of that as kinda white, as long as it wasn't next to a truly white egg.

2 today. Never got the garlic planted, should have been done in October. And I didn't get the leeks pulled. Now they are frozen into the ground.
