How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 6 today, 4 from the pen and 2 from the cage, yesterday I lost 4 2week old chicks and 2 pullets 20 weeks old and 1 20 week old pullet survived the attack from a raccoon. It's time to start hatching chicks or get spring chicks.

Yes, it’s ceramic. whatever’s in it is from the same day. I transfer to an egg carton the next morning.

Got 3 eggs today.
Not sure which ones laid 2 of them but I'm glad to know that our Olive Egger decided to bless us with her first spring egg.
I'm also glad to find out who all will be laying soon/laying now by how they keep squatting when I get close to them

I very much dislike raccoons for just that reason! The majority of our losses to predators have been from raccoons. So sorry for your losses.
I'm headed out in just a few minutes to collect eggs and lock up the chickens.
