Haha! You said it Penny! Many times I’ve wanted to say “Brag, brag braggety brag!” But that would be unsportsmanlike so I haven’t. Lol

Especially since yours are so frugal with their eggs!

Yeah, but i don't have the best of luck with selling things. I do supply my M&FIL with about 60 or so eggs a week.

Who are THEY selling them to? I can't imagine how 2 people can use 60 eggs a week.

I have over 100+ birds in brooders inside my house....

SIXTY eggs a week??? That is over 4 eggs each every day!

Only 4 today, maybe @Sequel's girls have been complaining to mine that they have been overdoing it and are embarrassing other flocks.

I usually make 4 eggs when I eat eggs 3 or 4 usually. Today I had 3. Starting to realize 4 is a bit much.

Only 6 so far more to come later from the main coop silkie can only do 2 other two are broody just now cannot lay and be broody

I have golf balls. She would jump in one nest and roll it around then go to the other nest and roll that one around. I was pretty sure that meant something, and it’s so big! She is a big bird though.

Invest in a few fake eggs I will put even up to 2 in one

My girls have dropped off the last week or so. I still have the lights giving them about 12 hours of light now. Production was fine till now. 3 today from 7 girls. Interesting experiment with the lights, and the winter has been so mild so far that it wasn't a problem leaving water and food in the coop. Doesn't freeze many nights.
