3/4 one hen is broody and we are getting her hatching eggs tomorrow!

I only got 5 out of 8 hens for 2/26. I think our warm for a few days then cold for a few days weather has them messed up. I don't know I am happy with getting three a day. One for me and two for DH.

Ok after so many weeks of not having a soft shell egg I find one this morning and from one of my EE who had not laid a soft shell when they first started laying. Now, my girls are only 6 months old, they are getting layer feed and oyster shell plus treats so what cause this I wonder? Anyway, including the softie I got 6 eggs this AM. My two dogs do not mind a soft shell for sure since it gets scrambled for them!

5/6, mine average 4 a day, so today was a good day. Gonna try cayanne pepper for a week and see if it helps...
