5 yesterday. From 8 cute bantams, 5 of them almost 5 and 6 years old.

5 for 6 today , trouble maker gummed up the bedding in the nest box with another softie , cleaned that out this morn and put new bedding in it . Started looking online for a home made feather duster tutorial

An even dozen plus one thin shell from Mellori which was broken in the nest. Had to clean quite a few eggs.

One! 3 of the girls just hatched 3 chicks. So since I only have 4 adult chickens, at present I have one layer named Nervous Nelly who blesses me with a lovely brown egg almost every day.
