17 eggs today. 1 really big one and 1 pretty small one.

45 today. The flock were all annoyed with me because DH and I are expanding their run. Apparently they expect me to do this without making any noise or any sudden movements...

I had 11 from big girls, no one liked me handing 3 ameracauna to the little coop last night ..
so only one egg from the little coop the Andalusian .. 3 from silkie

Rubbish last few days with about 6/7 eggs a day as the crows have now plucked up the guts to enter the coop!!! Battled for years but usually only the few chickens and ducks who use the outside boxes or hedges. Currently debating the best cause of action. Scarecrow??
The coop was carnage yesterday!! Egg everywhere!

Update: We now have 4 dozen a day coming in, with 6 a day ( from 8 leghorns, 7 are laying and one is a hybrid from Cackle giving cream eggs, not going to try to continue that line...) going into the incubator queue.
