How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

My ladies are showing their displeasure with the freezing weather and all the snow. They aren't impressed

I don't blame them, I'm not overly enthused with the cold winter weather either.

Oddly enough, my egg numbers are on the upswing as the temps dropped these past few days. Got 7 of 9 today! 6 yesterday and 5 the day before that.

I'm excited to be finally be able to participate. I found our first eggs today! I'm not sure how many out of 6 have started laying, been crazy busy so not super attentive this weekend and most likely missed some yesterday. They're small, of course, but I just think they are so beautiful. My husband thinks I'm crazy but I'm just so thrilled our girls are laying!View attachment 2387659

I had like 5 from big girls both their coops I have 18 big birds
bought 18 fertile eggs to hatch Will keep the pullets

Thanks for the welcome everyone! It appears I missed those first eggs for quite a bit longer than I thought . None the day before yesterday, 1 yesterday and none today. So it looks like only 1 of my girls is laying. Based on comb color changing, I would think 3 more are very close!

Today was 2 from my chickens and 5 out of a possible 6 ducks.

Hubs does not like duck eggs unless in a baked item or mixed with chicken eggs in scrambled eggs.
A bit to picky I think.

I can’t stand duck eggs either. I tried!

Zero eggs. I have two girls getting older, three that are coming out of a brood, and three that will start anytime now. The quail are just mean.
