How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 yesterday, 2 today. I'm excited to be able to start sharing them . I have a little carton set aside for my grandpa, who has been waiting since I placed my chick order in April.

4 eggs, no blue ones today. My pullets just hit 18 weeks though, so they should only have a few more weeks.

7 out of 8 today. Not really sure if I should count #8 as a layer anymore. Shes only 30 weeks but hasnt laid in over a month.

Apparently 1 both yesterday and the day before. I found them in the closed nest box she used to use but had switched to one of the open ones. She's the only girl still laying. I hope they didn't freeze as it's been cold the last few days. They aren't cracked and it does stay a bit warmer in the barn in the fall ... until the ground freezes.

I was wrong, I got a fourth after I collected. I also ended up talking my family into letting the broody sit so I set aside the eggs from today and will give them to her tomorrow once we have a few more.
