Agreed the combs start to get red as they get closer to laying.

tiny practically non existant combs, but I'm wondering if it's just generics?

Oh wow interesting mine already have much redder and larger combs and they’re younger than yours, guess your girls are really taking some sweet time huh?

Yeah, with a mix it's hard to know what to expect! Once those combs start to redden it will happen soon after and you'll have more eggs than you'll know what to do with!

Well TIL having them on layer pellets can delay laying, and theyve been on that since they got off chick feed at 4mo.

25ish pullets so yeah, in theory, one day.
