How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

These girls of mine I swear they just started laying and are already on strike what the heck yet again not one dang egg from 6 layers 4 of them are brand new layers and 2 out the 4 have only laid one egg each since started its been almost 2 weeks ... I really hope they figure things out I did make a threat to eat them if they don't give me eggs lmao the look they gave me was like yeah ok crazy lady now where's our treats lol

The third day my hubby threatened them with that we finally got some eggs! LMAO he thinks he's powerful now.

4 for 4 she laid very late in the day which means 3 tomorrow.

If they are happy and healthy, they will lay. If you are not doing anything to force them to lay, ie chemicals, playing with lighting conditions etc, then no harm in getting a good egg count at all! Well, except for maybe your belly when you eat all them eggs with a big fat slab of bacon!

Gorgeous array of eggs and heh I think that's good for winter.

I have a lot of new layers that hatched in June and August. I think I have 12 or 13 laying now, I got 10 eggs today.

13 of 15 again! I’m pretty sure my youngest girl has started laying. Maybe this spring will bring some 15 egg days.

Luckily for me, having only 4 and each a different breed, I can tell which egg came from which butt so if someone is behind (see what I did there ) I know to watch them to see if there are any issues I might need to address. My one who recently started laying about a month ago, just waiting for her's to slowly get bigger in size, but either way, an egg is an egg and in the end, they all make an omelette.
