Lucky me i live on the farm

Aaah.. farm fresh! 100% organic? No added preservatives, artificial colorings?? .. oh but wait wait... have you also done the freshness test too. you know.. press your flesh firmly with finger and hope it bounces back quickly?

Only 6 today -- rough after a 10, 9 and 2 8 egg days but what can ya do! At least they're laying now.

One of my girls has been laying 11 days straight without stopping at an interval of approx. 24 hr..... strange I thought it should be every 26 hours...

12 today. So up and down! 6 pullets started laying. So more eggs for us and the dogs Most of the large eggs are sold.

I still think there should be more with 48 hens and pullets

How old are your older girls? I have 95 layers, but the most eggs I've gotten has been 75

Only two are over 4 years old. The rest are under two years old or still pullets.
