How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Ah, okay. I'm in Wisconsin and would like to be able to sell legally locally. Of course, Maxwell isn't old enough yet, though. He's only 11 weeks. How old do cockerels have to be before they are uh, able to do the job?
I’d say around 6 months.

Thank you! So if birds are going across state lines they should be certified?
I think “should” is the right word, but not required. Again, I’m not an expert on the subject but this is my interpretation from what I see on the website.

10ish today. I’ve been pestering the chickens all day. Probably got them out of routine. I’m trying to pick out eggs from the rooster’s favorites. As soon as the nice, well-mannered young man left with his chicks, a lady texted me about buying some hatching eggs! So now I’m trying to do my due diligence to get her the highest percentage of fertile eggs that I can. Rusty has too many ladies to tend but he definitely has favorites that will always be fertile. I’ve added a rooster but he’s still a young little cockerel. If only the egg came out with the chicken’s name on it... 🤔
