10 today. Roof is on the mini coop. I’ll try to get some progress pics tomorrow. Afternoon storms halted work today. I had 6 screws left and both batteries were dead, then the thunder and lightning started. I told my son that sure looked like a good stopping place

Well..my girls just turned 19 weeks, my ‘Ameraucana’ has been acting like she wanted to lay for two weeks! it finally happened yesterday..first egg ever for me, and her! Then, she amazed me by laying another egg today less than 24 hours after her first effort! The first one she spent time making a nest in the corner just outside the nest boxes, pulling fibers out of the nest box..then today she got the message and laid her egg right next to the brown ceramic one! 30 and 29 grams..(red hand pic I pushed saturation but no balance shift) She’s a gorgeous girl!

On average we usually get 12-18 eggs a day it just depends what day it is and how many girls we have laying. Some of the hens are older and don’t lay much.
