19 from our 19 GC's. I sat out there in my Chicken TV outdoor auditorium at dusk and let 'em out for about 45 minutes to eat grass and bugs. A glass of wine and it don't get no better than this. Oh, and we got our first hive of bees today. It went very well and a lot better than I first thought. No one got stung. I'll post pics tomorrow. We bought a beginners hive setup a few months ago and Teresa painted it with flowers, bees, etc. and finished it natural. It looks great!
14 today,I had to rehome two of my girls today, one because she had layed thin shelled eggs ever since she started laying and discovered how good they taste, the other one had a nasty pecking problem,I am sure they went to a good home,a guy wanted them for pets,he said he wasn't interested in eggs,,just pets,,I gave that hen enough oyster shell and grit to sink the titanic but I couldn't cure her problem..I am sure it was genetics,,no cure,,
