2 eggs so far from my 3 that are laying. Occasionally, will have one lay around this time of day.

I got 1 egg that I could see (12 hens) but my hens seem to lay everywhere they are not supposed to lay. It's like an Easter Egg Hunt at my place. You have to walk around and look for eggs. What fun.

Mine were doing that too. I finally found their treasure and blocked that area off. Within 2 days they were laying where they should

I don't think the broody kind- Barred Rock, Leghorn, Polish and Brahma

How old are they? You might get lucky, my Brahmas all go broody, and I have a brown Leghorn who goes broody occasionally
