How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10/11 yesterday. Had to leave before sunrise this morning and temps won’t get over 25F, so I expect to find some frozen eggs when I get home.

Had two from the big girls, 1 from banty. Ice storm so maybe low number again.

I had 5 out of 6 yet again! DH and I had to chip ice so I could get up to check on chickens and gather eggs. We had the ice storm that @penny1960 mentioned earlier. Fortunately it’s melting fast but right now it’s water on ice so very very treacherous conditions.

11/18 + one that did not for correctly during calcification and suffered an impact right before being laid, so had a hairline crack as well. Unfortunately not usable. Amazingly none frozen!

It started snowing lightly this evening which usually signals a change in weather, so hopefully our bitter cold warms up to a manageable cold.
