7 today that's about max lately. 18 hens 6 Isa's laying 5 or 6 per day the rest of the flock BRs and BO's are slackers lol.

10/18 Monday

10/18 Tuesday + 2 half eaten eggs caught the barred rock hen in the act and yanked her out of the EE corner of the floor nest (EEs are such a pain like that) by her tail feathers and gave her a stern talking to

12/18 today

My 2 best customers are away for a few weeks and I have found myself drowning in eggs. I have been making deviled eggs, egg salad sandwiches, eggs Benedict, egg muffins... I have given away eggs to friends and neighbors as a Christmas gift and have somehow accumulated 8 carts in my fridge! Does anyone have a favorite recipe or eggcelent cookbook they recommend to help me out here???
