How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

6 again. Averaging 5+ per day with my flock of 10. Perfect amount for my family. Hoping they lay for lots of years, purposely didn’t get high producers in hopes they would spread out their laying.

Haven't replied in a while, but got one Welsummer egg today. I still have one naughty EE pullet laying on the floor, but two others, one Welsummer and one EE, have begun laying in nest boxes. I'm beginning to think the bad one is just a dumb blonde. She is completely clueless. And she is blonde...

We are getting one egg, some days none, from 4 hens. One of our girls has retired from the egg laying business (she is 8+) but the other 3 are still young.
Any ideas on why or advice?

Got 7 out of 11 today. 8 yesterday so I'm happy . I was only getting 3-4 before I turned on lamp to come on at 4am.
