How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I got 4 out of 5 yesterday and today. 2 the day before that. Lots of feathers flying around so I don’t know how long the egg numbers will keep up.

my girls have not been laying except for one, two, or three a day out of 16 hens! Bummer. Might be because this is their first molt, some of them had a hard molt. Could be the breed, or the weather. Miss having a dozen or more a day during the summer.

Got the one this morning that was probably laid late last night. Both my non-molters took the day off today. My littles are 20 weeks, so hoping for some new eggs any day now while the older ladies take their break!

You'd think they'd be laying by now. They're plenty old enough.

Well I got 5 blue eggs today, and until today only 4 hens I know of laying blue eggs. So - I am hoping that it is one of the pullets.

But winter is coming on here so they may wait till Spring.

Oh and I got 7 eggs today

One egg, very warm, probably freshly laid at about 5:30pm.

No not really, though my Azurs lay smaller eggs anyways.

I am just heading out to do evening chores and will double check the eggs I collected to make sure all are indeed blue, I do have one little lady who lays blue/green eggs but she has been moulting.

But all the eggs seemed fairly blue in colour, so who knows??

6 out of 13. Looks like feather pillow exploded out there. Oh wait the teenagers laid 2 more under the poop tray in the bedding!! Dumb girls but that's better than under coop in dirt!
