There were 4 eggs waiting for me when I let the girls into their day run this morning. And I can tell for sure now that the molting chicken is the one that I treated for the impacted crop. She has no tail feathers now.
Update: Found another egg, so 5 for the day instead of 4.
Look how round and fat Juillet’s egg is (on the right) compared to Août’s (on the left). They’re completely the same color now, but it’s not hard to tell them apart!
10 today but some smart aleck decided to lay right in front of the ramp so we had an egg that got foot traffic all day. That or someone decided to play "roll someone else's egg out of the nesting box." Who knows.
Two today…one still warm this morning when I went out to take the rest of my breakfast to the girls. And one after work. Still have some freeloading Banty hens.
