Yep! I was keeping a bale of straw in it, but there's only a shallow layer left. One of the Dominiques was intrigued with the straw, will guess she was the guilty party...

Six eggs so far at 8am, and one of them is humongous! Largest yet from my girls, I think. It weighs 116 grams, over a quarter of a pound.

I feel bad for the lady who laid that egg. It couldn't have felt very good!

9 from 12 ladies today! It rained, and it snowed today. Still drizzling when I went to let them out. They stayed pretty close to the run. Not sure, but I wonder if chickens can hear worms. My one lil girl was slurping worms like spaghetti! I watched her eat 3! Much needed moisture with more on the way for tomorrow.
