I tried selling the pullet eggs at the market but no one wants them. Can't even give them away... I've got 8 dozen in the fridge plus 12 fertilized from mumma hen

4 out of 4 today! Yesterday I took my granddaughter to her softball game and drove her home after. I completely forgot to lock the chickens up! This morning they were waiting at the outer gate. I swear they were saying “hey gramma! Where ya been? We’ve been up since 5!”

Got a market in the morning, will take 9 doz. Getting 6 a day from the babies. Half of them are already laying sz 6's.

I thought I might make a bunch of bacon n egg pies an some quiches, have to buy a bigger fridge soon or give them all butt plugs

Ever see the cartoon Flintstones? Remember the baby Bam Bam?? My chicken did that to a toad. For wayy too long she bashed that little guy for so long, I felt bad for it . She swallowed it whole too!

Oh gosh! Glad I am not a toad!!!

My 7 month old silkie pullet pummelled a poor small snake into oblivion and slurped it down like spaghetti! Good show Fluffy!

I have literally no room in my freezer and if I did we don’t use that many eggs to warrant that.

I just give them away to friends and family when I can’t sell them. And if I can’t do that - we’ll just cringe at the thought of people who are hungry and me throwing eggs out.
