How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We got 6 eggs today!
We have 31 chickens but they are 20 weeks old and just starting to lay. I can’t wait until they are all laying and we can collect a whole basket each day. I’m going to have to start selling them!

Oh man, that's going to be so many eggs! I have 3 little ones that are ~3mo old which will make 6 laying hens for just my husband and I. I can't imagine 32 laying hens!

9 today. We had afternoon thundershowers so the chickens had some respite from the oppressively hot weather we've been having.

I usually don’t forget to post, but I was wiped out after spending the day gardening and then canning the harvest. I’ll report back later with today’s count!

I had that happen when I still only had 2 hens. I went out and got the eggs later in the day and I had 2, the next day I got out a bit earlier and had 3. Today I got 5 from my 6 girls. Forgot about adding that in
