Four yesterday but today FIVE from 6 hens that are laying at this time.

5 a day for 5 days now. I should have 8 birds laying though. 3 aren't.

4/7 from my 25 week olds - the Australorp has laid a double yolker every one so far!

14/25 today i bought 10 new rhode island red / sexlink hens lastnight just turned a year old. i got 3 eggs from the new ones today. 11 eggs from my original flock. i have the new 10 hens seperated from the other hens so i can see how many lay right now. plus quarentine.

Still pretty hot out, I saw Squanto up to her breast in the duck pond.

I guess when you're hot who cares if you're a chicken, if there's water go for a swim!
