15 eggs today. Had 12 yesterday.

These are today’s along with 4 from yesterday.

I got 5 today from five pullets. Two that just started laying 2 days ago.

My sister has been collecting eggs lately and not keeping up with how many/ what kind. Today, she got a fairy egg. It was the only egg of the day. I think we got a banded egg a couple days ago so I’m not too surprised this showed up.

What is a banded egg?

2 yesterday, from Août and Juin.

Juillet hasn’t laid in nearly a week now, and lost two flight feathers yesterday. She is also frolicking around which is a joy to see, and absolutely hilarious. I tend to think she may be done with her laying cycle and is extremely happy about it.

It also seems to be snake season where we are. We’ve seen at least one rat snake near our coop, as well as a rattlesnake which was luckily a bit further away, but which still upsets me. I’m quite fearful of letting the girls forage now.

I never saw a pear shaped egg before. Interesting!
