I have run out of egg cartons

I had to buy some. 50 blank styro ones. So I wrote my first initial and last name, and phone number on the top line, and on the bottom, in a sort of calligraphy, "This is the day That the Lord has made!"

(Wednesday, the 19th)

11 today! 7 duck and 4 chicken.
I found a really tiny egg in a coop I have a sick-acting hen in. So she must have laid it. Its so tiny, lol!

Ooh, ooh, is it a fairy egg? About the size of a quarter or smaller? So precious! I save all mine! Just put it in a safe place or an open jar on a shelf, it will dry out.

2 eggs yesterday

My chickens are miserable as anything, we got 2 days of rain and this morning so far no rain and the sun is coming out.

I know that we need water, but the endless rain is ....miserable to the level of ....hopelessness.

I was looking at them on Amazon and wow they are pricey now! I need to call the feed store and see how much they cost there.

You can tell which is the hen egg and which are the pullets’ lol. Juilleggs are always jumbo!

Again 4, but I have to admit these are a start on a previous doz that I had gathered in a plastic coffee can and didn't put in a carton. Out the door bumped it and knocked it off the counter and broke all 12, a new personal best. Ever clean up a doz broken eggs on a rough texture ceramic floor? Some fun.
