2 eggs today
1 egg with soft shell and it broke. It is good that it broke outside instead of inside of the hen.

My Wyandottee are such a poor egg layers, anyway, they say I admired them for their beauty, not eggs.

I just came back from the coop and found my broody already talking gently to her 6 eggs. Official hatch date is Friday...

Congratulations! That first egg is exciting!
Where did you get her from? I will say, she doesn't look like an Easter Egger to me. She looks more like a Sapphire Gem, Blue Rock, or something. Which explains the brown egg!

I got her from Coastal who is supplied by Hoovers. I really hope the other two in the pic who were sold as EE will give me color.
